Most flagship smartphones next year will feature Samsung E6 OLED panel

Samsung provides top-of-the-line OLED displays to smartphone makers, and almost all brands use them on its high-end models. Samsung is also constantly developing better OLED panels with higher brightness and better high-frequency dimming technology.
According to Sammobile reports, Samsung E6 OLED panels may be used in most flagship smartphones next year and shipped in large quantities. At present, several high-end Android smart phones announced by many manufacturers have chosen this panel of Samsung.

Vivo has released the next-generation flagship smartphone X90 Pro+, which uses a Samsung E6 OLED panel with QHD+ resolution. The peak brightness reaches 1800 nits, supports 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a new generation of LTPO 4.0 technology, as well as P3 color gamut, XDR and Dolby Vision, etc. Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO launched the iQOO 11 which also uses the Samsung E6 OLED panel. Interestingly, this model is also equipped with its self-developed LTPO partition high refresh technology. It can intelligently adjust the screen refresh rate in different regions according to the screen display content, so as to save energy and prolong battery life while ensuring the look and feel.

Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 13 and Mi 13 Pro will also use Samsung E6 OLED panels with QHD+ resolution, peak brightness of 1800 nits, refresh rate of 120Hz, and support for LTPO 4.0 technology. Samsung will also use E6 OLED panels on its Galaxy S23 series, and it is rumored that the peak brightness may reach 2200 nits. Although competitors LG and BOE can provide OLED panels in order to seize as much market share as possible, the performance is still not comparable to Samsung’s.
