Microsoft will end Windows 10 v1909 support on May 11, 2021

Windows 10 v1909, released in the fall of 2019, has now reached the end of its life cycle, and Microsoft will end support for this version as planned this week.

This version is a minor version update, so there are not many new features, but many users upgrade this version after Windows 10 v1903 reached the end of support.

But now this version will also end support, so users must upgrade to Windows 10 20H1 or 20H2 version, of course, there will be the upcoming 21H1 version and so on.

The end of support means that Microsoft will no longer provide security updates to these versions, so based on security considerations, Microsoft strongly recommends that users immediately proceed to upgrade to the new version.

Windows 10 v1909 will end its service on May 11, 2021. This applies to the Home Edition, Professional Edition, Education Edition, and workstations.

Microsoft strongly recommends that all users upgrade to the supported version to ensure the best experience and security. The old version cannot get security updates, so the risk is higher.
