Microsoft updates about Microsoft Build 2020 conference
Google has just announced the cancellation of Google’s annual developer conference due to the coronavirus outbreak. Although Google has spent a lot of time preparing for the conference, there is no way to face the outbreak.
Now the outside world is also very concerned about the annual developer conference of Microsoft and Apple, Google has canceled the annual developer conference. So will Microsoft and Apple cancel?
Apple has not issued a statement but Microsoft has issued a short statement in which Microsoft said it will make a final decision based on the development of subsequent epidemics.
Microsoft writes:
“In light of the global health concerns due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Microsoft is monitoring public health guidance in relation to in-person events. At this time, global health authorities have not issued guidance to avoid travel to this location. We are looking carefully at our event calendar as well as our presence at industry events in the coming months. We are not taking decisions lightly, but the health and well-being of our employees, partners, customers and other guests remain our ultimate priority.
We will continue to monitor and make any necessary changes as the situation evolves.”
There are currently two months to go before the Microsoft Build 2020 Global Developers Conference. Microsoft naturally hopes that the epidemic situation will ease after two months and then it can hold the conference as scheduled.
