Microsoft has confirmed the removal of the ad module in the Windows 10 mail app
Previously, Microsoft launched a small-scale test for Windows 10 Insider users. The test content was that the Bing online advertisement was displayed at the top of the mail application. The online advertising module of Bing Search provides advertising content for app interest, and the content of the online ads during the test is mainly Office 365 subscriptions.
To be frank, after all, these accompanying apps are free apps, so even if Microsoft wants to advertise in it, users can complain a lot at the most. For example, in Windows 10, there are recommended modules for promoting store applications, as well as advertisements for promoting Microsoft’s own browsers on the taskbar.
However, this time, Microsoft’s top-selling advertisement for Windows 10 mail seems to be willing to give up. Microsoft said that this advertisement is a small-scale test.
Previously, after being widely reported by the media, Microsoft has stopped pushing ads in the mail application. Now the new version of the mail application has deleted the advertisement.
