Microsoft releases KB4558244 for Windows 10 v2004
If there is no accident, Microsoft will release the Windows 10 2004 RTM version image on the 28th of this month, and then start to push on May 12.
However, before the official launch, Microsoft continued to release cumulative updates to fix known issues. For example, Microsoft just launched the KB4558244 Update.
This update mainly solves some of the problems that may be slightly affected by the system. If there is no obvious abnormality when using this version, please do not install the update.
Because these updates always bring about one or other problems, it is better to wait and wait for Microsoft to solve the problem and then install it.
Changelog
This Cumulative Update includes the same fixes from Build 19041.207 plus this additional fix:
- We fixed an issue that fails to send NPLogonNotify API notifications from the credential provider framework.
Important note about accessibility
- We are aware Narrator and NVDA users that seek the latest release of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium may experience some difficulty when navigating and reading certain web content. Narrator, NVDA and the Edge teams are aware of these issues. Users of legacy Microsoft Edge will not be affected. NVAccess has released a NVDA 2019.3 that resolves the known issue with Edge.
