Microsoft releases KB4468550 update to resolve audio driver issues

Microsoft is pushing routine updates for all supported versions of Windows 10 this week, but it’s still no surprise that new issues always occur every time an update occurs.
The problem that this time brings to the user is that the sound card driver disappears after the cumulative update is installed, and the sound card driver disappears, meaning that the user device can no longer play the audio content.

After many users complained, Microsoft began to investigate and admitted that it was the company’s problem, because Microsoft pushed the wrong Intel driver to some devices.

Push a new update to fix the problem:

At present, Microsoft has pushed the KB4468550 update to users to solve this problem. The actual update is mainly to uninstall the current problem driver.

Microsoft said that the driver would be automatically repaired after the update is installed. After the installation is complete, the system must be restarted so that the new settings can take effect.

Also, this update is only available for computers that use Intel audio devices, and you do not need to install if you are using a sound card from another brand, such as Raychem.

If you have not received the push, you can click this link to download the driver. The 32-bit version of the system does not have this problem, so you do not need to download and install the driver.
