Microsoft releases cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1809/1803/1709/1703/1607/1507
Microsoft has launched KB4540673 and KB4551762 updates for Windows 10 version 1903/1909 last week. Such updates are monthly routine updates.
What is confusing is that Microsoft is now launching a new cumulative update. This cumulative update is not a monthly routine update and is therefore of a testing nature.
This type of test update only appears when the user manually clicks to check for updates, so it is also recommended that users do not click to check for updates in order to avoid being installed with a beta version.
Highlights
- Updates an issue that causes an error when printing to a document share.
- Updates an issue that prevents the touch keyboard from appearing during sign in when the user is prompted for the password.
- Updates an issue that causes calendar dates to appear on the wrong day of the week in the clock and date region of the notification area when you select the Samoa time zone.
- Improves application and device compatibility with Windows updates.
