Microsoft project manager thinks that Mozilla should give up Gecko and embrace Chromium
Microsoft has previously announced that it will abandon its own browser kernel and switch to the Chromium project. Microsoft’s decision has caused much controversy in the browser industry. However, the Microsoft project manager’s, Kenneth Auchenberg comments on Twitter caused a stir, and he thought that Firefox should also switch to the Chromium project. The old browser Opera has given up its own kernel to switch to the Google-led Chromium project.
In the current browser market, in addition to Chromium, Firefox is still sticking to its own kernel. Of course, Firefox is now struggling.
Thought: It's time for @mozilla to get down from their philosophical ivory tower. The web is dominated by Chromium, if they really *cared* about the web they would be contributing instead of building a parallel universe that's used by less than 5%?https://t.co/0zi2NCtzb4

Microsoft project managers believe that Mozilla spends time and money on the Gecko, so it’s better to spend these resources on more innovative projects to enhance the experience.
Although many people criticize his point of view, he believes the project manager believes that the open source of the Chromium project can also promote the continued development of the project, without the situation of monopoly controlled by Google.
