Microsoft notifies Windows 10 Version 1803 users to need to upgrade to the new version as soon as possible
According to the Microsoft Lifecycle Schedule, Windows 10 Version 1803 will end security support for common versions such as Home and Professional in the next month. Users who use the above versions after stopping support will no longer receive any security updates, so they will not receive updates and will be fixed, even if there are known security vulnerabilities. Of course, Microsoft will also provide additional support for the batch education and enterprise editions for one year, and there is no need to worry about using these versions of educational institutions and enterprises.
We have previously mentioned that Microsoft is pushing a major version of the Windows 10 Version 1903 update to users who are still using older versions. Usually, according to Microsoft’s way, the download will be directly updated and wait for the user to restart to upgrade, but some users have already set up to not upgrade the new version.
Therefore, Microsoft will also remind users by displaying a warning on Windows Update. Microsoft said that without security support after the end of support, it will become no longer secure, so users must upgrade.
