Microsoft may upgrade Surface Hub 2 hardware: powered by Intel 11th-Gen Processors

Not long ago, Microsoft announced that it officially stopped supporting the first-generation Surface Hub (model: Surface Hub 55 and 84), and will no longer provide new firmware and drivers but will provide system updates. Recently, according to Windows Central reports, Microsoft may perform a hardware upgrade on Surface Hub 2, the next-generation product of Surface Hub 55/84, upgrading its processor to the 11th generation Intel processor, and the internal upgrade code is “Upward”.

Surface Hub 2 is equipped with a 50-inch screen with a screen resolution of 4K and a screen ratio of 3:2. It also has a 4K camera, a built-in speaker, and is equipped with a Surface Pen, which supports multi-touch, and Windows Hello fingerprint login system. Because of its 50-inch large screen and good hardware performance at that time, with a movable stand, Surface Hub 2 is suitable for corporate meetings, classroom education, and other occasions. In the original product design, Surface Hub 2 also supports a maximum rotation of 90 degrees, which is suitable for displaying various types of presentations.
