Microsoft has redesigned application icon for Windows 10X
With the announcement of the Windows 10X version, the Start Menu with tile style has also been abandoned by Microsoft and replaced with a new style. Of course, it’s important to emphasize that this style is currently only available for Windows 10X, and other versions will still use the tile style.
The latest news from Aggiornamenti Lumia shows that Microsoft is designing new artifact-style icons for maps, alarm clocks, and contacts, and no longer uses tiles.

This is somewhat similar to the images that Microsoft showed before. Of course, it can be confirmed that the traditional tile-style icons will not be used on Windows 10X.
However, there are also predict that it is unlikely that Microsoft will replace all of the current tile icons in Windows 10 even before the end of next year.
