Microsoft has blocked some Intel graphics card users from upgrading Windows 10 Version1903 due to brightness issues
According to Microsoft’s updated Windows 10 Version 1903 status log, the company has blocked some Intel graphics card users from upgrading Windows 10 Version 1903. Mainly due to compatibility issues with some specific Intel display driver configuration devices, this issue can cause the computer screen brightness settings to completely fail. At the same time, there is no complete solution to this problem. This means that users with brightness problems may need to roll back and wait for Microsoft to fix and then upgrade.
Microsoft said that when users upgrade to Windows 10 Version 1903, the screen brightness will be adjusted actively, but the brightness will not change. In particular, the brightness of the computer screen will be directly reduced to a minimum after some users turn on the computer. If the brightness of the room is high, the content of the screen may not be visible. For temporary users who have already upgraded, the temporary solution is only restarted. Microsoft said that restarting the system and trying again should increase the screen brightness. However, if it is still invalid, the user needs to restart the system again until the system can respond to the user’s actively adjusted screen brightness.
Therefore, the brightness may not be adjusted after the upgrade, so Microsoft also recommends that users do not force the upgrade to the latest version to prevent normal use. Microsoft is currently working on a solution that is expected to fix the problem soon, and users can fix it by installing a cumulative update.
