Microsoft fixes Windows 10 cumulative update KB4041676 causes blue screen problem

Microsoft Tuesday released Windows 10 cumulative update KB4041676, for Windows 10 creator updates to bring security improvements and bug fixes. However, some of the computers that install this particular update will eventually fail and the blue screen will be updated within 24 hours of publication, and this is more and more reports.

Microsoft explained in a support article that all this is caused by this update release issue, indicating that through Windows Update or Windows Update for Business update system has not been affected. In addition, Microsoft has confirmed that this problem occurs after you install the cumulative update KB4041691.

Microsoft said it has fixed the issue in time, re-released the Windows 10 cumulative update KB4041676. Users who have not yet downloaded and installed Windows 10 cumulative update KB4041676, they should rescan the update to automatically resolve the publishing issue; users who have downloaded the update but have not restarted need to remove the pending updates.

Microsoft provided specific support articles, which have a complete description, and how to deal with the update caused by BSOD information. The latter requires the user to enter the system recovery state, and run a bunch of commands to restore the operating system, and then boot back to the desktop in order to deploy the correct update.
