Microsoft finally supports camera settings in Windows 10 Settings app

The coronavirus epidemic has led to a surge in the use of online video conferences, but Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system has not made the necessary preparations for this situation.

Because the operating system still does not support the adjustment of the camera, this causes some users to have too low brightness or too high exposure during network video conferences.

Now, Microsoft absolutely supports camera settings. In the latest development test version, Microsoft has already supported camera configuration and so on.

Considering that users may need to adjust the camera when making an online video, Microsoft supports customizing the brightness and contrast in the camera configuration.

Microsoft added the configuration of the webcam in the device options of the Windows 10 Settings application. The current stable version does not support the direct adjustment of the camera.

However, considering that this is only a new feature added in the development test version, it may have to wait until next fall to reach the stable channel.
