Microsoft confirmed that Windows 10 v1809 cannot save office files properly
Microsoft has updated the re-released description page of Windows 10 version 1809. This update adds compatibility issues for some applications.
Microsoft has now confirmed that some users may encounter compatibility issues with the Microsoft Office suite of office components that do not properly save documents.
This compatibility issue is primarily caused by conflicts between Morphisec Security Services and the Morphisec Software Development Kit and other applications.
At the same time, some software compatibility problems exist in some software products of Cisco, and users cannot save the Microsoft Office series documents.
Temporary response to this problem:
Affected users can only uninstall the software that generated the compatibility problem first, and wait for the software developer to resolve the compatibility issue and release the new version.
Microsoft said it is working with Morphisec and Cisco to troubleshoot the issue. After the check is completed, a new version will be released to solve the problem and then provided to the user.
This issue only affects Windows 10 v1809, and Microsoft has not mentioned whether Windows Server 2019 and LTSC 2019 are affected.
