Microsoft brings extension menu to Microsoft Edge
Earlier, Google Chrome brought a new feature to pin the extension icon, so that the area on the right side of the address bar would not be squeezed into too much space.
For the user, if the extensions that need to be clicked frequently can be displayed, the ones that are not frequently clicked can be hidden to keep the right side of the address bar tidy.
Now Microsoft Edge has also brought an extension menu to be tested in the development version and the canary version. Interested users can enable this feature by modifying the startup target.
Right-click the Microsoft Edge shortcut icon to select properties, and then add parameters after the target’s double quotes to save to enable the hidden extension function.
Specifically, the installation locations of the development version and the canary version are different, so you need to set it according to the version you installed. Of course, it is easiest to modify the target directly.
