Microsoft basically has admitted that there is a Windows 11 version
It is said that the leaked image file allows us to determine that Microsoft is about to launch Windows 11, but Microsoft has never mentioned the relevant name.
The reason is that Microsoft will officially announce this type of information at a press conference held at the end of this month, and although Microsoft hinted at it before the announcement, it did not make a clear statement.
For example, Microsoft has never mentioned the name of Windows 11 in official documents until now, but the infringement removal notice seems to have revealed the name in advance.
According to FossBytes reports, some netizens saw Microsoft’s request for deletion of infringement to Google on the copyright website, requesting Google to delete the website hosting the leaked mirror from the index.
After the image file was leaked, many websites have already uploaded and hosted the leaked image, and the image file itself is copyrighted and not allowed to be shared publicly.
Including Windows 10 image files, the Microsoft Legal Department sometimes also maintains copyrights, requiring certain online disks or hosting websites to delete such images.
The latest action of Microsoft’s legal department is to require Google to remove from the index certain content of the Indian hosting website Beebom, and the content is the leaked mirror file.
The Microsoft Legal Department stated in the DMCA notice that “this is an unreleased leaked image of Windows 11,” and Microsoft hopes that Google will directly delete its index.
Of course, Google will allow this type of copyright request, which can reduce the number of people who find such infringing content through Google searches to protect the rights of the owner.
However, it is too easy for enthusiasts to find the leaked Windows 11 image file, and Microsoft’s actions cannot prevent the image from continuing to spread.
For us, this copyright notice is still very interesting, because this is the first time that Microsoft has officially mentioned or confirmed that Windows 11 is an operating system.
As stated at the beginning of the article, Microsoft has never officially mentioned Windows 11 before, and everyone guessed that there would be this new version before the image was leaked.
So now that Windows 11 is already firmly established, we need to wait for Microsoft’s press conference at the end of the month to officially introduce the Windows 11 version.
