Microsoft announces new features for OneDrive to improve sharing and office collaboration experience

Microsoft added a new file details pane. In the new version, Microsoft will provide users with files in the file details pane, a preview of the file or photo, a list of people who have permission to access the file or photo, and all activities that occurred in the file, such as the creation and upload time, rename, delete, restore, share, edit and move files, the above content is sorted according to the time of operation.

In addition, comments on PDFs, files, folders, photos, and videos are sorted according to the latest time. Finally, the detailed pane also displays general information such as file size, size, modification date, and path.

The added information and the new version of the information pane also allow users to directly edit, for example, click on the list of people with permission to access to add new users, or directly modify the file name, add or delete comments, add or delete a series of operations such as labeling.

For active files such as documents, presentations, or table files, you can now quickly view recent editing activities and comments within the past 30 days. Recent activities in the new version mainly include file renaming, moving, deleting, restoring, sharing, commenting, and editing. All activities are named according to time, such as yesterday, 3 days ago, last week, last month, etc.
