Microsoft acquired BlueTalon, a data privacy and governance service

Today Microsoft announced the acquisition of software security company BlueTalon to further simplify data privacy between modern data. The BlueTalon team said it has begun developing deep data privacy solutions for Azure data and providing its own unified data access control solution for other modern data platforms. Through Microsoft’s cloud computing platform, larger centralized data management will be more efficient. Microsoft is seeking to help companies comply with all modern security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR. This move will make BlueTalon an important enabler of Microsoft Azure Data Governance to achieve these goals.
