Microsoft is testing BingSearchLockscreen feature which enable a persistent search box on the lock screen
Although Microsoft’s Bing search market share is not high in the global market, there are still quite a few users in the US market using Bing search. And Windows 10’s Microsoft Cortana itself has integrated the Bing search function. It can be said that the search box also contributes a lot of users and search volume for Bing search, so Microsoft seems to be continuing to improve so that more places can integrate Bing search.
In the Windows 10 Build 18932 for Fast Ring released by Microsoft, a separate option to enable the web search box in the lock screen has been built. However, this option is not enabled by default and Microsoft has not introduced it. You need to use a third-party tool to scan all the features and then open them.
I'm not sure why you'd want this but, with build 18932, you can now enable a persistent search box on the lock screen.

After opening, you can see the search box in the lower-left corner of the Windows 10 lock screen interface. In the case of the lock screen, you will not search for any local files to prevent privacy. So no matter where you enter any content to search, the Bing search is called by default, which is simply a quick web search function.
Microsoft has long planned to add similar features to the lock screen interface, so in the current version, Microsoft Cortana can work on the lock screen interface. Although the function and code have been available this time, Microsoft has not yet introduced it. Maybe Microsoft is also preparing to conduct a small-scale test to observe the evaluation of the function.
