Micron announced the launch of two Crucial-branded consumer storage products, the Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 NVMe SSD and the Crucial P3 Gen3 NVMe SSD, to expand its SSD product portfolio. Micron said that the two new products are available with a maximum capacity of 4TB, which will provide more attractive price-performance indicators.
The sequential read and sequential write speeds of the Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 NVMe SSD reached 5000 MB/s and 4200 MB/s, respectively, using Micron’s 176-layer 3D NAND flash memory, which has undergone the most rigorous testing and verification. It is also backward compatible with PCIe Gen3, providing high-performance users with reliable storage space for applications, documents, photos, videos, and games. It is a powerful storage solution.
The sequential read and sequential write speeds of the Crucial P3 Gen3 NVMe SSD are 3500 MB/s and 3000 MB/s respectively, which is a 45% increase in performance compared to the previous generation, aimed at casual gamers, DIYers, entry-level designers, and anyone looking for a high-quality NVMe SSD on a limited budget, it is also ideal for PC upgrades to replace SATA-based HDDs/SSDs.
