Market statistics show that Windows 10 20H2 market share is very low and growth is slow

Windows 10 20H2 version is a new version launched by Microsoft in the fall of 2020. Of course, it is a new version but it does not bring new features worthy of attention.

The reason is that this version is based on Windows 10 20H1 version only for general optimization, so it does not matter whether users upgrade this version or not.

Because of this, Microsoft’s push of this version is actually relatively slow. For example, Microsoft previously suspended push the Windows 10 20H2 version to the users and said that it will continue to push after continuing to improve stability.

From the current AdDuplex statistics, it can be seen that the Windows 10 20H2 market share is indeed relatively poor, and the growth rate is very slow, and there may not be many users who care.

Statistics from AdDuplex show that the current market share of this version is only 16.8%, while the 20H1 version has a 39.8% share and the v1909 version has a 31.2% share.

It can be seen that most users are concentrated on the 20H1 version and v1909 version, and the Windows 10 21H1 version will be released in a while.

In fact, we can see an interesting phenomenon here, the adoption rate of Windows 10 v1909 during the same period is only 15.2%, even slower than 20H2.

And now the market share of this version has soared mainly because Windows 10 v1903 is about to stop supporting. It can be seen that the growth rate of small updates is very slow.

Windows 10 v1909, Windows 10 20H2, and the upcoming Windows 10 21H1 version are all minor updates with few new features.

This seems to be that users still pay much attention to the changes in the version. If there are not too many new features worthy of attention, it is better to continue to use the current stable version.
