Logitech Introduces G502 X-Series Gaming Mouse

Logitech G announced the launch of the G502 X, G502 X LIGHTSPEED, and G502 X PLUS, all available in black and white, through a series of breakthrough innovations to achieve the best gaming experience. The promotional video of the new G502 X series gaming mouse has been exposed on the Internet before, and Logitech then confirmed that it will be released at the end of August.

The new G502 X-series gaming mouse features the HERO 25K sensor and the new LIGHTFORCE hybrid opto-mechanical switch for faster speed, higher precision, and a better tactile feel. According to Logitech G, LIGHTFORCE is a revolutionary micro-switch technology that combines the benefits of optical switches with the drive feel of mechanical switches that gamers love. The use of galvanic contact parts maintains the crisp feel of a mechanical switch during operation, providing reliable and ultra-low latency optical drive for ultimate gaming performance.

The G502 X series has also been redesigned in appearance to adapt to various hand shapes and holding methods. While ensuring stability, it has been optimized in terms of weight and has become lighter. Logitech G says the new product is 68 percent more responsive than the previous generation, and the wireless version can be charged via USB-C. In addition, the LIGHTSPEED wireless protocol allows gamers to use G HUB’s device pairing tool to connect two LIGHTSPEED devices to a single receiver, such as the optional G915/G915 TKL gaming keyboard.

The G502 X series is compatible with the Logitech G POWERPLAY wireless charging pad, supports Windows 10 or later, MacOS 10.14 or later, and the three versions are:
  • G502 X – Wired version
  • G502 X LIGHTSPEED – Wireless Version
  • G502 X PLUS – Wireless version, 13 custom keys with 8 RGB light zones
The price of Logitech G and the specific launch date of the product are not yet known.
