LG Gears Up for CES: Ultra OLEDs Expand from 32″ to 45″!

As CES 2024 draws near, LG has unveiled a preview of its 2024 UltraGear OLED gaming monitor lineup. The new product range spans from 32 inches to 45 inches, encompassing multiple models, all set to debut at the CES 2024 exhibition.

LG’s flagship model, the 32GS95UE, is touted as the world’s first gaming monitor to simultaneously achieve a high refresh rate mode (FHD@480Hz) and a high-resolution mode (4K@240Hz), while maintaining an ultra-fast response time (GtG) of 0.03ms. Gamers can effortlessly switch display modes with the touch of a dedicated button located at the bottom of the monitor, enabling rapid transitions between screens. This feature allows players to experience high-speed visuals in first-person shooter games and also enjoy the best visual quality in graphically rich games and videos.

A similar design concept was previously implemented in other products, such as Razer’s Blade 16 gaming laptop released earlier this year, which featured a 16-inch dual-mode mini-LED screen capable of switching between a UHD+ (3840 x 2400)@120Hz creative mode and an FHD+ (1920 x 1200)@240Hz gaming mode.

Moreover, LG’s “Pixel Sound Technology,” which generates sound directly through the display’s vibrating thin-film components, is being applied for the first time in their monitor products. Unlike monitors with speakers combined on the side or back, this forward-facing audio delivery results in clearer sound for the user. Compared to scenarios where speakers are additionally connected to the monitor, this integration of image and sound on the screen offers a more authentic experience.

LG will also introduce two curved OLED gaming monitors with an 800R curvature: the 39-inch 39GS95QE and the 34-inch 34GS95QE. These new models feature a 21:9 aspect ratio, WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), and a response time (GtG) of 0.03ms. Additionally, LG is set to launch two 45-inch curved OLED gaming monitors, models 45GS95QE and 45GS96QB, along with an upgraded version of a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor, model 27GS95QE.
