Lamborghini launches Countach LPI 800-4 hybrid supercar
Lamborghini announced the launch of the Countach LPI 800-4 hybrid supercar, which is a replica of the classic Countach supercar of the last century, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the original debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Its LPI stands for Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido or Longitudinal Posterior Hybrid; the number 800 is taken from the rounding of the maximum power of 819 CV, the number 4 stands for four-wheel drive.
Since it is a product built on the classic original version, the design is inspired by the original version and continues the original style, but the taillight has a new design. Lamborghini said that the new version of Countach will continue to write the legend, which will not only completely change the panorama of modern supercars but also pay tribute to the visionary design that laid the foundation for Lamborghini’s heritage.
The body of Countach LPI 800-4 is made of carbon fiber, with a net weight of 1595 kg. Speaking of a privileged audience, Lamborghini will only make 112 units of the Countach LPI 800-4.
