Cumulative update KB4494441 for Windows 10 v1809 has duplicate installation issues

Microsoft has already released a routine cumulative update for the Windows 10 earlier this month, and of course, these updates are always a problem. For example, many users have found that the cumulative update of KB4494441 released by Microsoft to Windows 10 V1809 has duplicate download and installation issues. At present, Microsoft has updated the status page and confirmed the existence of this problem. It is not too serious that it should not affect the user’s use.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18282

Microsoft confirmed:

Some customers report that KB4494441 installed twice on their device.

In certain situations, installing an update requires multiple download and restart steps. If two intermediate steps of the installation complete successfully, the View your Update history page will report that installation completed successfully twice.

From the current user feedback, this update is mainly repeated twice. It seems that the system will not download and update again after the user has installed it twice.

So there is not much impact except for wasting user time, and there is no similar problem report for the cumulative update of other branch versions of Windows 10.
