Microsoft releases KB4478877 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 v1607 & Windows Server 2016
Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for Windows 10 long-term support channels to fix network address translation ports using virtual machines.
This update is only available for LTSB 2016 Long Term Support, and you will need to upgrade to the new version if you are still using the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
The following are specific update logs and known issues:
- Addresses an issue that prevents the release of the on-demand Source Network Address Translation (SNAT) port allocated to a virtual machine (VM) after the SNAT port is no longer in use. As a result, the SNAT port becomes exhausted.
