Intel’s Alder Lake-S engineering samples leaked specification information
Because the performance of Rocket Lake-S is a bit lackluster, many users have turned their attention to Intel 12th-generation Core series processors, which is Alder Lake-S. Igor’s Lab recently discovered a brand new engineering sample, which also involves detailed specifications such as Alder Lake-S frequency and power consumption limits, and can learn about some early features.
This chip labeled Intel Core-1800 has 16 cores and 24 threads, which is the top specification of Alder Lake-S, adopt big.LITTLE hybrid architecture, equipped with 8 large Golden Cove cores (Core) and 8 small Gracemont cores (Atom), manufactured using 10nm Enhanced SuperFin process, the basic frequency is 1.8 GHz. It uses an LGA 1700 socket and a motherboard with a 600 series chipset.
Its TDP is 125W, can run for 56 seconds, PL2 is 228W, can run for 2.44ms, and the temperature is limited to 100 degrees Celsius. The maximum frequency of Golden Cove core is 4.6 GHz (up to 2 cores), and the frequency is reduced to 4.4 GHz (3-4 cores), 4.2 GHz (5-6 cores), and 4 GHz (7-8 cores). Gracemont cores are 3.4 GHz (1-4 cores) and 3 GHz (5-8 cores). At 4.2 GHz, the voltage is 1.3147V.
