Intel unveils the NUC 13 Pro compact PC, codenamed Arena Canyon
Intel announces the launch of the NUC 13 Pro compact PC, codenamed “Arena Canyon,” featuring the 13th generation Core series processors, boasting ample computing power within a 4 x 4-inch design, suitable for most scenarios.
Simultaneously, the NUC 13 Pro claims to be upgradeable and easy to maintain, with specific models equipped with Intel vPro technology, making them applicable to the commercial market.
In terms of hardware specifications, the NUC 13 Pro can accommodate up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200MHz memory, support two PCIe x4 Gen 4 NVMe SSDs via M.2 slots, and features an Intel i226 Ethernet wired connection with transfer speeds up to 2.5 Gbps. It also includes Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, with ports comprising two HDMI, two Thunderbolt 4, three USB 3.2, and one USB 2.0.
The NUC 13 Pro is expected to enter the market for sale in late March, offering user-customizable specifications for memory and storage capacity, as well as factory-completed all-in-one installations scheduled for release in June. Suggested retail prices will range from $340 to $1,080 depending on the specifications. Customized versions will also be available for Intel partners, enabling them to create their own tailored solutions.
