Intel officially confirms the launching of 11th Gen Desktop CPUs on March 30
Recently, Intel told the media that the 11th Gen Desktop CPUs will be officially released on March 30. The 11th Gen Desktop CPUs processor using Rocket Lake-S architecture will become Intel’s last 14nm desktop processor. According to previous news, Intel will release the Alder Lake 12th Gen Desktop CPUs using a 10nm process in the second half of this year.
The 12th-generation Core processor will use the same core design as the Apple M1 chip to achieve a double balance of efficiency and energy saving. In addition, the LGA 1700 interface will be replaced, so the 500 series motherboard with the LGA 1200 interface will become the shortest lifespan generation motherboard.
Therefore, if you want to buy an Intel processor but are not in a hurry, you can consider waiting for the 12th-generation core processor to be released in the second half of this year. The overall cost-effectiveness is higher, and the 600 series motherboards should be able to use two more generations.
