Intel launches Windows 10 DCH driver v27.20.100.8587 to improve game performance
Intel has just released a new driver for Windows 10 v1709 and later versions. The new version is mainly to optimize the performance of some games.
The so-called DCH version is a new driver developed based on the Microsoft Universal Driver Architecture, so it only supports the newer version and does not support the installation of the old version.
Like the previous version, the new version of the driver supports Intel’s sixth-generation and subsequent processors. Of course, it is actually possible that you have the Intel sixth-generation processor and cannot install normally.
We don’t know why it can’t be installed. It may be limited by the graphics card OEM manufacturer, or it may be that Intel official drivers do not support certain OEMs.
After the user installs the driver, it will overwrite the driver pre-installed by the OEM manufacturer, which may cause some customized functions of the OEM manufacturer to be unusable.
In case of such problems, it is recommended that users go to the OEM website again to find the most suitable driver, or uninstall the driver and automatically install the adapted version through a system update.
