Intel is currently making final preparations for NUC 11 Essential, and this entry-level NUC product will be available soon.
According to FanlessTech report, as a new generation of entry-level NUC, NUC 11 Essential will adopt the Jasper Lake series manufactured by a 10nm process, based on Tremont architecture, including Pentium Silver and Celeron processors, each with four cores and four threads Pentium Silver J6005. The highest frequency is 3.3 GHz, supports dual-channel DDR4 memory, and Gen 11 core display with 32EU configuration.
Celeron J5105 is still a quad-core and four-thread specification, the highest frequency will be lower, only 2.9 GHz; Celeron J4505 is dual-core dual-thread, the highest frequency is 2.7 GHz. Intel said that this type of product is mainly aimed at the education market.

The overall size of NUC 11 Essential is 135 x 115 x 36mm. Both of them will be equipped with two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots and support up to 16GB of dual-channel DDR4-2933 memory. Gen 11 core display frequency is 900MHz, will provide an HDMI 2.0 interface and a DisplayPort 1.4 interface (support HDCP 2.2), support 60 Hz 4K display; equipped with M.2 2280 slot, support PCIe x4 NVMe and SATA SSD; Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX101 + Bluetooth v5.2; 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet card, two front USB 3.1 Type-A ports, two rear USB 3.1 Type-A ports, and two rear USB 2.0 ports. However, NUC 11 Essential lacks a 2.5-inch hard drive and only relies on the M.2 slot, but some models support onboard eMMC storage.
In addition, NUC 11 Essential supports Microsoft Windows 10 / Linux systems and provides a three-year warranty.
