Hewlett-Packard previously announced the release of the Pavilion Aero 13 2023 edition laptop, a device crafted from a magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis, weighing less than 1kg. According to a report by Liliputing, this ultra-thin notebook has now hit the market. The base model, equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 7535U processor, 8GB of memory, and 256GB of storage, retails at $880. Consumers also have the option to purchase upgraded versions with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735U processor and expanded memory and storage.
HP first launched this product line in 2021. The new model for this year measures approximately 297.18 x 208.28 x 17.78 mm and weighs about 998.8g. The processor has been upgraded to the AMD Ryzen 7035 series, featuring Zen 3+ architecture cores, higher core frequencies, and integrated graphics based on the RDNA 2 architecture.
The Pavilion Aero 13 2023 edition laptop offers a choice between the AMD Ryzen 5 7535U or Ryzen 7 7735U, with the former having 6 cores and 12 threads, and the latter 8 cores and 16 threads. It boasts an IPS display, with an option of either 1920 x 1200 or 2560 x 1600 resolution, a brightness of 400 nits, and a 100% sRGB colour gamut. All versions support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, come with a built-in 43Wh battery, and are equipped with a 720P webcam with dual microphones, a B&O audio system, a backlit keyboard, a precision touchpad, and fingerprint recognition. In addition, the laptop provides a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port (supporting DisplayPort 1.4 Alt mode and PD charging), two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 interface, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
