Google opened the .page domain

Google opens .page domain name, which is currently in the early usable period, will enter the universal availability phase on October 9.

In February 2015, Google purchased .app TLD (Top-Level Domain, TLD) ownership from ICANN for $25,001,000, the highest TLD ownership fee ever. On May 8 this year, Google completely opened the .app top-level domain to the public, allowing anyone to register the .app domain they want, which is a milestone in the domain name community.

A few days ago, Google initially opened up the .page domain name. GoDaddy shows that a domain name only costs $10.99 a year. Google says its price is meagre, and once it reaches the universal availability period on October 9, its rate will be even lower. The .page domain name is currently available for purchase from some Google partners, including Name.com and GoDaddy. Google said, “The closer we are too normal availability, the lower the price. Starting October 9, the .page domain will be obtained from more providers, and there is no additional charge.”
