Last year, due to the coronavirus epidemic, Google completely canceled the Google I/O 2020 conference. Google announced today that the 2021 I/O conference will be held online from May 18 to 20 and will be open to the public for free. Google I/O 2020 is Google’s biggest event this year.
What you can expect from Google I/O 2021 includes:

- Keynote speeches by consumers and developers, focusing on company and product news
-
Technical meetings focused on product launches and how to adopt new features
- Workshops and Ask Me Anything Sessions (AMAs) are interactive, and you must make an appointment to participate. Workshops are led by lecturers and encourage Q&A. The AMA provides an opportunity to ask questions from Google product experts
- Meetups is a casual, open, and convenient forum hosted by Google, allowing participants to communicate with each other. Registration and appointment are required
-
An interactive sandbox is provided in I/O Adventure, allowing developers to try out Google’s new products and features through personal experience
- Codelabs and Learning Pathways are self-guided learning experiences that help you adopt Google’s technology.
These contents will be arranged throughout the three-day event, and the complete meeting contents will be announced at the end of April. Interested users can participate in registration through this link.
