Google admits some Pixel 6 series phones have Wi-Fi connectivity issues
It is said that Google Pixel series smartphone users are blessed because they are the first groups to receive Android system security patches, but this is not necessarily the case. According to notebookcheck reports, some Pixel 6 users have recently found problems with their phone’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. After that, Google officially acknowledged the problem and said it will be fixed through a patch next month.
Google says:
After some investigation, we identified the root cause and determined that it impacts a very small number of devices. Of course, we realize this is a poor experience and immediately developed a software fix that will be available in the next Google Pixel Update, rolling out in March. If you’d like to explore other options in the meantime, please get in touch with our support team, which is prepared to help you.
if the users wanted to solve this problem now, they could only downgrade to the older version of the previous-generation Android security patch. Android Police suggested that they install the new Android 12L beta in the problematic Pixel 6. There are already users who have installed the Android 12L beta and found that it does solve the problem. But until the March security patch is released, these are mitigated measures.
It is not difficult to find that the recent Google system updates are really not very friendly to their Pixel 6 and 6 Pro flagship products, there will always be some small loopholes, and I hope Google can do better in subsequent system updates. In addition, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have only been launched for a few months, but there are already leaks related to Google’s Pixel 7 series on the market.
