Gigabyte launches new RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC graphics card

Gigabyte announces the launch of its new RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC graphics card (GV-N407TWF3OC-12GD), marking the sixth RTX 4070 Ti model in its lineup, which previously included two AORUS variants, as well as one each of the Eagle, Gaming, and AERO models.

According to TechPowerup, the RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC features a 2.5-slot thickness and introduces a new design, distinct from previously released counterparts. The updated WindForce cooling system is equipped with three 80mm fans, featuring an alternating spin configuration, nano-graphene lubrication, eight heat pipes, and a direct-touch copper base. Additionally, a metal backplate is included. Gigabyte has not provided extensive details, so some specific design elements remain unknown.

Given the “OC” suffix in its model name, the new graphics card comes with factory overclocking settings. Compared to the reference design, the RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC’s boost clock is marginally increased by 15MHz, reaching 2625MHz. In terms of display outputs, it features three DP 1.4a ports and one HDMI 2.1 port, constituting a standard configuration. It is equipped with a 16-pin 12VHPWR power connector, and since it comes with a dual 8-pin to a 16-pin adapter cable, the card’s total power consumption should not exceed 300W.

Gigabyte has yet to disclose the pricing and release date for the RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC graphics card. It may be the most affordable option within its RTX 4070 Ti lineup, potentially offering a more budget-friendly price point.
