German cybersecurity agency said that Firefox is the most secure browser
The German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) tested mainstream browsers Mozilla Firefox 68 (ESR), Google Chrome 76, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge 44, and Firefox became the most secure browser recommended by the agency after testing.
This test did not include Safari, Brave, Opera or Vivaldi. BSI released a secure browser guide last month that stipulates that modern secure browsers must support TLS, must have a list of trusted certificates, must verify the loaded certificate, must use the icon to show whether the connection is encrypted or not, and must support HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), etc.
