Galaxy Fold 2 equipped with under-screen selfie camera is expected to launch in July this year
At Samsung’s new product launch not long ago, Samsung released the Galaxy Z Flip, which has been rumored to be called Galaxy Fold 2. This is a folding screen mobile phone.
But many people are still looking forward to the rumored Galaxy Fold 2 because they prefer the folding screen design used to enlarge the current regular screen size, rather than the Galaxy Z Flip’s folding screen design, which is dedicated to reducing the size of mobile phones.
Today’s news about the Galaxy Fold 2 is eye-catching, that is, this Galaxy Fold 2 code-named “Project Champ” may be equipped with an under-screen camera.
Ultra-thin glass (UTG) from Schott is their best hope then. First on Galaxy Z Flip. Then on Galaxy Fold 2 which is now known as Project Champ and should come mid-year. It will fold out to 7.7” but will be quite a bit more expensive than the more portable clamshells…

Samsung has been studying the technology of the under-screen selfie camera. This is nothing new. After all, apart from Samsung, OPPO and other Chinese mobile phone manufacturers are also studying, but Samsung can launch a fold-screen phone with an under-screen selfie camera this year.
According to the founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, the Galaxy Fold 2 will also be equipped with ultra-thin glass (UTG) like the Galaxy Z Flip on the folding screen. The display size will reach 7.7 inches.
