GALAX releases Hall of Fame GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER

Galax has announced the launch of their flagship Hall of Fame Overclocking Laboratory Series (abbreviated as HOF OC LAB Series) GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics cards, featuring luxurious high-end materials and delivering formidable performance capabilities. The Galax GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER HOF OC LAB series includes two models: the Master-X and the Master editions, both renowned for their exceptional overclocking prowess.

The GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER is equipped with the AD104-350 GPU, increasing its L2 cache from the existing 36MB of the RTX 4070 to 48MB. The number of CUDA cores has also risen from 5888 to 7168, a substantial increase of approximately 21.7%. Memory capacity remains at 12GB, with a memory speed of 21Gbps and a bandwidth of 504GB/s. The total power consumption of the card sees a slight increase of 20W to 220W. NVIDIA states that it delivers 36 SHADER TFLOPS, 82 RT TFLOPS, and 568 AI TOPS of AI computing power.

The Galax GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER HOF OC LAB Master series cards feature a 12+3 phase power design, utilizing the Infineon XDPE10281 PWM controller for core power supply. This controller provides a high-precision output voltage to the GPU core, offering ample flexibility to optimize power performance and efficiency. The card’s default maximum power consumption is set at 250W, with the option for manual enhancement up to 320W. It supports DUAL BIOS functionality, offering a P-Mode for high efficiency and an S-Mode for silence. Notably, the Master-X edition in P-Mode boasts a preset boost frequency of 2685 MHz, a significant increase of 210 MHz over the standard model’s 2475 MHz.

In terms of design, the new product maintains the Hall of Fame’s traditional white style, featuring a robust metal heatsink with a white body and radiant high-gloss edge cuts. It includes three 102mm Silent Frost fans with a special blade design, a regal crown ARGB emblem at the top, presenting an overall clean, luminous, and premium appearance. The cooling system incorporates 2 Φ8mm and 6 Φ6mm composite heat pipes, coupled with a large 93.5 x 73.5 mm copper plate for efficient heat dissipation and an improved cooling module. It also supports intelligent fan stop-start technology and is reinforced with a high-strength metal backplate for enhanced cooling. Moreover, the card’s ARGB lighting not only offers iconic faith lighting effects and supports synchronization with other components but also includes a debugging feature to alert users of any improper connections to the graphics card or motherboard.

Galax states that the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER HOF OC LAB Master series graphics cards will soon be available on the market.
