Gainward announced the launch of the new GeForce RTX 30 Phantom series products, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Phantom. The original GeForce RTX 30 Phantom series graphics cards have launched an upgraded GeForce RTX 30 Phantom+ series, which will use the new Phantom coolers, including GeForce RTX 3090/3080/3070 Phantom+. What is a bit surprising is that GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is still excluded from the Phantom product line.
Gainward launched the GeForce RTX 30 Phantom series last year. This time, the upgraded Phantom+ series followed the original design concept and optimized the heat dissipation solution. According to the official introduction of Gainward, the new Phantom radiator will have better heat dissipation performance in a heavy-load gaming environment, which can reduce 7 degrees Celsius and the noise level will be lower. Its high-protection double-sided die-casting design optimizes heat dissipation and provides additional protection for the motherboard.
The appearance of the new cooling solution looks darker, and it will also have ARGB lighting effects, but the position of the LED lights has been changed. Players can use the EXPER Tool series of software to provide customized lighting effects during the game to highlight the player’s own unique style. Of course, these graphics cards also support the “ARGB SYNC” function. Players can use the connection cable in the package to synchronize the graphics card with other devices that support ARGB lighting on the host.
Although a new radiator was replaced, Gainward did not change the original core specifications, and the frequency and other parameters did not change. For example, the acceleration frequency of the GeForce RTX 3090 Phantom+ is still 1845 MHz, the thickness is still 2.7 slots, and three 8Pin external power ports are provided, and the TDP is 420W. At present, Gainward’s new products are not yet on the market. Pricing and supply are still a big problem at this stage.
