Fractal Design Launches Terra Case

Fractal Design unveils its latest addition, the Terra Series case. It’s a small-form-factor PC gaming case, meticulously redesigned by Fractal Design, poised to offer gamers an invigorating gaming experience. Echoing the aesthetic charm of its North series predecessor, it likewise integrates solid walnut as a decorative element, flawlessly melding with the metal components.

The Terra Series case possesses an overall dimension of 343 x 153 x 218 mm and approximately encapsulates a 10.4L volume. It caters to Mini-ITX specification motherboards and offers a palette of green, black, and white variants. The exterior design derives inspiration from the residential milieu of contemporary gamers. Its fully ventilated design ensures maximal natural airflow, while its body is forged from anodized aluminum plates, measuring up to 8mm in thickness. The side and top panels integrate a lockable design, thereby enhancing security during transit.

The case features a movable and adjustable central divider, providing 30mm of adjustment space, representing a perfect blend of flexibility in assembly and compatibility. It is capable of accommodating dual-slot or triple-slot thickness graphics cards. Fractal Design has incorporated a simplistic opening mechanism at the bottom of the side panel. Along with a leather-textured pull ring at the rear of the top cover, this facilitates an effortless and distinctive method of opening the case.

The Terra Series case provides space for up to two 2.5-inch hard drives, mounted via the included dedicated brackets. It accommodates two PCI baffle positions and imposes a 48mm or 77mm CPU cooler height limit, a 322mm graphics card length limit, a 145mm or 131mm graphics card height limit, and a 72mm (for heights less than 131mm) / 62mm (for heights between 131-145mm) or 43mm (for heights less than 131mm) / 33mm (for heights between 131-145mm) graphics card thickness limit. It supports SFX and SFX-L power supplies, with a length limit of 130mm.

In terms of cooling fan placements, the base can accommodate a 120mm fan, and the side can accommodate a 120mm radiator. Additionally, Fractal Design includes a PCIe 4.0 extension cable for the Terra Series case. The case front I/O configuration comprises a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C interface (20Gbps) and a USB 3.0 interface (5Gbps).
