Fractal Design Launches North Chassis
Fractal Design announced the launch of the new North Series chassis. According to Fractal Design, this is a reimagined product that introduces natural materials and custom details, and the stylish design is well integrated into the living space. Its front panel has a mesh ventilated design and is finished with a walnut or oak panel that blends nicely with the metal parts.

The overall size of the North series chassis is 447 x 215 x 469 mm, and the Mesh version and TG version weigh 7.6 and 7.7kg respectively. They can support motherboards with Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX specifications. As well as a choice of walnut or oak tops, users can also choose from white or black color schemes, as well as mesh or side see-through panels. On the front I/O configuration of the chassis, there is a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C interface, two USB 3.0 interfaces, and an audio jack.
The North series chassis provides up to 3 3.5-inch hard disk bays and 4 2.5-inch hard disk bays; there are 7 PCI expansion slots; the height limit of the CPU radiator is 170mm or 145mm (the fan bracket is installed in the Mesh version); the length of the graphics card is limited to 355mm (with a front fan installed) or 300mm (with a front 360 water cooling installed), and the length of the power supply is limited to 256mm (with one HDD installed) or 155mm (with two HDDs installed); the width of the top line is 30mm; the ATX power supply is supported.
In terms of the position of the cooling fan, the front can support 120/240/280/360 water cooling; the rear supports 120 water cooling; the top supports 120/240 water cooling. Fractal Design comes standard with two Aspect 14 PWM fans for North series cases, and users can also expand to four 140mm or six 120mm fans.
