EVGA E1 Gaming PC: Z690 DARK K|NGP|N Motherboard, 100% 3K Carbon Fiber Frame

Recently, EVGA launched a new product for high-end gaming enthusiasts, called EVGA E1 gaming PC. It uses an open chassis design and uses a frame made of 3K plain weave carbon fiber. It’s a lightweight material typically used in high-performance supercars, and it weighs just 2.76 pounds when applied to the chassis. EVGA said that in the same volume of the chassis, E1 has the lightest frame design, and maintains due stiffness.

As a top game hardware manufacturer, EVGA naturally has to match the current best configuration for such a high-end host. The E1 is equipped with a Z690 Dark Kingpin motherboard, which is undoubtedly prepared for Intel’s flagship Core i9-12900K processor. What’s even cooler is that the motherboard is suspended in the air by a steel cable. The cooling system uses EVGA’s seventh-generation integrated water-cooling radiator with an LCD display. Although EVGA has not announced the specific graphics card model, it is likely to be the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin released by overclocker Vince Lucido. This upcoming graphics card has a silver and black color mix, using a mixed cooling design, copper radiator + single fan with an integrated water cooling solution, and also has an LCD display.

The EVGA E1 gaming PC also uses a limited-edition power supply rated at 1600W that is 80 PLUS Titanium certified, and its surface also features 3K plain carbon fiber to match the chassis design. You can also see retro-styled meters on the chassis, which will display various parameters of the CPU and GPU. EVGA also extends the 3K plain weave carbon fiber trim even further, with a limited-edition keychain included.

EVGA has not disclosed the price of E1 for the time being, but it is conceivable that it is definitely not a price that ordinary players can afford. The unit price of the main core accessories is high in itself, plus the frame made of 3K plain carbon fiber, the basic cost is already there. In addition, EVGA said that E1 is only available to EVGA members.
