Ehcache 3.4.0 release, Java cache framework

Ehcache 3.4.0 has been released, Ehcache is a pure Java in-process cache framework, with fast, capable and other characteristics, is the default CacheProvider Hibernate.

This version of the Terracotta server for a greater improvement, Ehcache 3.3.x, and 3.4.y is not compatible, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version.

3.4 series is also likely to be the last version of Java 6 support, the upcoming Ehcache 3.5.0 plan will be transferred to Java 8 and above.

This version updates:

  • Fixed the too strict regex in cluster connection that deflected proper use of HA setups,
  • Fixed an expiry issue when having local caching tiers on top of a clustered tier,
  • Some specific bug fixes and all the  3.3.2  and  3.2.3  fixes.
