Dying Light 2 version for PlayStation 5 will have three display modes focusing on speed, ray tracing and 4K

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a game that many players look forward to. The open-world gameplay and multiple endings have attracted the attention of many players. According to the game developer Techland’s plan, the game will be launched next month, except for the announced delay of the Switch version. Techland has released a new trailer showing the game display mode that Dying Light 2 will offer on PlayStation 5.

Dying Light 2 version for PlayStation 5 offers three different game display modes: Performance Mode (60 FPS+), Quality Mode, and Resolution Mode (4K). Performance Mode undoubtedly prioritizes frame rate; Quality Mode introduces popular ray-tracing techniques while focusing on quality over performance and maintaining a stable frame rate; the Resolution Mode focuses on a 4K high-resolution display, with strong visual impact, and the frame rate will be reduced. According to Techland’s introduction, the game fluency provided by the performance mode may be the mode that many players will choose, ensuring that the frame rate of 60 FPS+ is more suitable for experiencing the refreshment brought by the game.

In addition to the PlayStation 5 version, Dying Light 2 is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One on February 4. The Switch version will be released in the next six months, but it can only be played as a cloud game. Techland also promised players that it will keep the content updated for five years after the release of Dying Light 2.
