Debian project leader launches a Free and Open Redis modules – GoodFORM

Recently, Debian project leader Chris Lamb launched the Free and Open Redis modules – GoodFORM. Due to the recent changes to many Redis Labs module licenses, they are no longer a free and open source, so GNU/Linux distributions such as Debian and Fedora will no longer provide users with the appropriate versions of Redis Labs affected modules.

So Debian project leader Chris Lamb and others launched a new project GoodFORM on GitHub, which integrates the Redis Labs module that was forked before the license change, and maintains under the original license to provide bug fixes and security updates.

“We are committed to making these available under an open source license permanently and welcome community involvement.”
