CORSAIR launches K70 CORE SE mechanical keyboard

Corsair has announced an expansion of its gaming peripheral product line with the launch of the new K70 CORE SE mechanical keyboard. Similar to the previously released K70 CORE RGB, the K70 CORE SE is also equipped with Corsair’s proprietary linear red switches.

In terms of design, the K70 CORE SE closely resembles the K70 CORE RGB. It boasts a compact and sturdy build with a durable aluminum top plate and a base made from 85% post-consumer recycled materials. It features RGB lighting but differentiates itself with a unique color scheme of silver, white, and yellow, as opposed to the all-black of its predecessor. The keyboard’s upper right corner retains Corsair’s standard multifunctional control knob. Besides adjusting media volume, users can also utilize the iCUE software to customize it for various functions, such as adjusting keyboard backlight brightness, scrolling through pages, and more. This feature is user-friendly and allows the storage of up to five configuration profiles.

Corsair’s linear red switches offer a smooth and responsive typing experience, with a perfect actuation distance suitable for both gaming and office work. The keyboard is further enhanced with dual-layer sound-dampening foam, reducing typing noise and creating a more gentle sound. The keys are made from durable, double-shot ABS keycaps, ensuring longevity even under high-intensity use.

Additionally, Corsair has introduced three limited-edition keycap and mouse pad bundles, including White Sakura, Azure Steel, and Crimson Steel, exclusively available through its online store.
