Chuwi GemiBook xPro features Intel processor N100
Intel’s Alder Lake-N series processors are built for low-power mobile and embedded devices. It does not have P-Core, only E-Core. The processors currently using this architecture include some Intel N-series processors and Atom X embedded processors. Citing Liliputing news, recently, the Chinese manufacturer Chuwi has launched a cheap notebook equipped with an Intel processor N100.
The name of this notebook is Chuwi GemiBook xPro. It is a 14.1-inch notebook with a 1920×1080 resolution IPS screen. The Chuwi GemiBook xPro will be powered by an Intel Processor N100 which is a quad-core, four-thread processor. Obviously, it has a turbo frequency of 3.40GHz and a TDP of 6W. This processor also comes with 24 EUs of Intel UHD Graphics at 750MHz. In terms of memory and hard disk, Chuwi GemiBook xPro is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.
Thanks to the 6W processor, the notebook is less than 19.9mm thick and weighs less than 1.4 kg. But other than that, Chuwi has not yet provided more details about the notebook, such as the I/O interface, whether it can expand the storage space, etc.
According to Chuwi, this notebook will be on sale soon, and the price will be less than $300. For those who need Windows or something else, this might be a better choice than a similarly configured Chromebook.
