Chromium Microsoft Edge can import almost all data and settings from Google Chrome

Earlier Microsoft has launched the official version of the Chromium Microsoft Edge browser, and the company is actively pushing users to replace the classic Edge browser.

At the same time, in order to attract Google Chrome ’s huge user base to migrate to this browser, Microsoft is improving Chromium Microsoft Edge to allow users to seamlessly migrate.

Almost all the data and settings saved by users in Google Chrome can be directly migrated, so even after switching browsers, it will not affect normal use at all.

The supporting data and settings are bookmarks bar, other bookmarks, address, and shipping information including name and phone number, the payment information includes saved credit card data but no security code.

Browser history, account avatar set by Google Chrome, saved passwords, automatic login, save and populate payment methods and fill in shipping addresses.

New tabs at startup, opening a specific address, using page sets, sending untracked requests in privacy, allowing sites to request and checking payment methods.
